Who are the Difficult Parents?

Are we really 'difficult' parents?

Not really! Like you we are parents of children with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) living in the London Borough of Haringey. We are concerned about the delivery of services for children with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

The Leadership of Haringey Council promised coproduction of services to meet needs.  We see no sign of that happening. Vulnerable people's time has been wasted and hopes of positive change have been dashed and destroyed.

We are going to call that out. Stay up to date:

Our Impact

We've worked really hard with one single aim in mind : to encourage the decision makers who provide statutory services to design those services to meet the needs of the service users by involving service users at every stage of service design and provision - that is coproduction
Our Impact pages

We are the parents of a severely disabled child in Haringey. We feel isolated and unable to access services.  This makes our life 'difficult'.  It makes our child's life and inclusion in 'society' impossible.

So, we campaign for coproduction because we believe this is the only way to ensure services provided by the council meet the needs of the people they are suppose to serve.
