Here are links to some of our evidence to Haringey Councillors on Scrutiny Panels that scrutinise and influence decisions, decision makers and Haringey policies.
In February 2021 we presented to the Overview and Scrutiny Panel (led by Cllr Peray Ahmet) Whittington Health: Estates and Services Task and Finish Panel 23rd February 2021. We spoke about the need for great coproduction work with SEND families - advice they the panel and the lovely people at Whittington Health accepted.
Following our evidence to the Overview and Scrutiny Panel in December 2019, in February 2020 Councillor Zena Brabazon arranged and hosted a SEND Transport event for all parent carers - which in turn led to the abolition of the dreaded annual SEND transport application form!
January 2020: We gave evidence to the Children's Scrutiny Panel that in 2020 produced 14 recommendations for improving the SEND provision in Haringey.
In December 2019 we spoke to the Overview and Scrutiny Panel about SEND Transport and the lack of coproduction in the planned changes to the management of service.
In early 2019 we spoke to a scrutiny panel about our experience with the Blue Badge system in Haringey, contributing to a review that resulted in changes to the system.
