They run three SEND Community Groups
- THE CHALLENGE GROUP - a parent and toddler group on term time Fridays at St James's Church, Muswell Hill
- WAVE CHURCH - 2nd Sunday of the month at The Methodist Church, North Bank, Pages Lane
- THE WAVE CAFE - a pop up cafe currently running art workshops 7:30pm on Thursdays at The Birchwood Centre, N10 3BG
The Challenge Group
They say: The weekly Challenge Group is for children with additional needs, their parents and carers. It’s an opportunity to talk to other parents who may be adjusting to the birth of a child with additional needs, while enjoying coffee and home-made cake. The toys are all new and imaginatively chosen. The dedicated team provides a caring, friendly environment for play and relaxation.

We say: A fabulously supportive community group, wonderful tea and cake - and the occasional massage - a great place to go for a break from the struggles we all face and have a very lovely time

WAVE CHURCH
They say: Monthly Wave Church gatherings are informal and creative. They include singing with Makaton signing and bible teaching using pictures, games and drama. We also have time to chat, with tea and great home-made cake! The small and friendly space is appreciated by those who struggle with a formal service in a large church building.

WAVE CAFE
They say: Wave Café is a social enterprise that brings people together from across the community, creating opportunities for those with and without learning disabilities to socialise and have fun together.
