Thank you to all the organisations below, officers, officials, staff and councillors.

We have successfully challenged the local service providers to look again at the way it goes about things. In doing so, we have encouraged officers to work more closely with service users to design services that meet needs.

Sometimes the impact has been immediate. Haringey's Clinical Commissioning Group reviewed their system for offering Covid-19 vaccinations for clinically vulnerable 16-18 year olds within 2 days of us blogging and the lovely Haringey HealthWatch fighting our corner.

When we reach out for help about what would happen if we went to hospital at the very start of the pandemic> The Whittington Health (twitter team) produced and then sent us an 'EASY READ' guide to read through for comment about what would happen if we had to go to children's Accident and Emergency in North London in the first lockdown. This took them less than a day to turn around.

Whittington Health Engagement Team extended the reach and time frames for their consultation on the Child Development Centre (CDC) buildings, agreed to look at a Changing Places for the new CDC and HealthWatch Haringey stepped in as an independent adjudicator for the engagement.

Haringey Council are starting to put Changing Places standard toilets into parks - there is a beautiful toilet in the cafe block in the centre of Finsbury Park and we look forward to 2 more coming soon to Lordship Rec and Queens Wood.

We have also campaigned constantly for better coproduction with families of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Haringey. 'Better' would mean openness, transparency, good governance, meetings and their agenda and minutes published on line with greater flexibility in the methods used to engage SEND parents so that all have an opportunity to have an input. Taking our evidence to the Councillors Overview and Scrutiny Panel for the SEND Transport (call-in) and the Children's Scrutiny sessions on SEND we have found that councillors want those things too!
