Message from sendPACT 23rd June 2021

Dear parents/carers 

You may remember that we wrote to you last year in June saying that we were putting a pause on sendPACT. This comes after four years representing parents/carers and trying to work with Haringey Council so that our children would have the right support for their needs, now and in the future. We said that unfortunately, no matter how committed we are to sendPACT's cause, what we want to do and what we want to achieve for parents/carers is too much for just two people. 

We can now confirm that sendPACT will not re-start and is therefore officially closed. 

We had hoped to continue is some way but sadly after much thought, we realise this isn’t possible under the same circumstances. We want to thank all of you who have travelled this journey with us, you have been so important to us and have help us more than once with your contributions both in written and in person. We are grateful for your support, without you, sendPACT would have not be able to achieve any of our aims. We can only hope that sendPACT has been able to help some SEND families in Haringey.
